Think you ‘can’t dance’?
Worried about what people will think of you?
That’s creative fuel! Use that ‘negative’ thought and give it shape. Invite the anxiety, shame, and fear into the dance. And then ask those feelings what they are saying.
‘Hello my old friend. What do you want? How would you like to move?’
These are your shadow aspects. The unlived parts of you that you keep suppressed. And those aspects in turn keep you playing small, keep you locked in fear. Keep showing up. Keep moving. The more you dance with your fear, the less it will paralyse you. The more you move with your shame, the less it will crumple you.
